MBA Course Transfer Policy
Approved Spring 2002, Amended Spring 2003

  1. Students may import a total of 60 credits.  Each 3 hour Murray State course will transfer as 6 credits.

  2. CIS 653, with the additional individual oral examination, may be imported as Professor Otto's seminar with a total of 8 credits.

  3. With the approval of  the appropriate Universität Regensburg professor, students may import a complete Schwerpunkt by successfully completing four 3 hour courses at Murray State.  These 12 credit hours will import as 24 credits.  This body of courses will satisfy Schwerpunkt requirements, even if a Schwerpunkt requires more than 24 credits at Universität Regensburg.  The student’s transcript would indicate that the Schwerpunkt was earned at Murray State and would list the courses completed for the Schwerpunkt. The exception to this policy is Professor Drukarczyk’s Finance Schwerpunkt, which requires five 3 hour courses at Murray State.

  4. Grades for imported classes will be assigned according to the following schedule.
